Sgr Education Foundation

We started Sgr Education Foundation a while back. You can find us on the first floor of Shradha House, right there at 345 Kingsway. It's a busy area but we like it here. People often ask what we do every day. Mostly, we just focus on education stuff and helping out where it's needed in the local schools or with students who drop by. The office isn't anything fancy, just a few desks and some files. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to parents. It gets a bit noisy sometimes with the traffic outside on Kingsway, but you get used to it. We aren't a big corporation or anything like that. It's just a few of us trying to keep things organized and making sure the kids get what they need for their classes. Sometimes we run out of chai or the printer jams, but we manage. If you’re walking past Shradha House, you might see our sign. We try to stay busy. There’s always paperwork to fill out or some program to look over. We don't really do big speeches. We just show up and do the work. It’s a simple setup. We’ve been at this for a bit now and we know the neighborhood well. Nothing too complicated, just a small foundation doing its bit. We keep the doors open during the day and usually have someone at the front desk to help with any questions people have when they walk in.
