Sawarkar Multispeciality Hospital And Mahendras Health Retreat is located on the first floor of the Khadi Gramudyog Bhavan. We are right there in the Mahal area, near Gandhi Sagar and the Tilak Putla monument. It’s an interesting location because the building itself has its own history and character. Being on the first floor means there’s a bit of a climb for folks, but once you’re up here, it’s a fairly large space. We have the hospital side and then the health retreat part, which makes for a bit of a mix in terms of who is walking through the halls. Some people are here for serious medical stuff, while others are looking at the retreat side. The Mahal area is quite old and has a specific character to it, and we feel like we fit right into that. Our rooms aren’t like those sterile, high-end private hospitals you see in the movies. They are practical and functional for what we need. We spend a lot of time managing the schedules for different specialists who come in. Sometimes it gets a bit confusing with the different wings, but the staff knows their way around. We don’t go in for big advertisements or loud signs. Most of our work comes from people who live nearby or who have heard about the retreat from a friend. It is just a regular place doing regular health work for the people of Nagpur.
