Satguru Footwear

Satguru Footwear is right near the City Post Office on Dharaskar Road in Itwari. If you know this part of town, it gets pretty crowded in the afternoons when everyone is out running errands. My family has been around this area for a long time. We started the shop because people always need something decent on their feet that doesn't fall apart after a few weeks of walking these dusty streets. It is a small place, really. We spend most of the morning unpacking boxes and making sure everything is where it should be on the shelves. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so we spend a lot of time cleaning. We have sandals, formal shoes, and some regular slippers. It is not a fancy place with bright lights and music. Usually, people stop by after finishing their business at the post office or while they are out doing their regular market shopping. We see the same faces every week, mostly neighbors and local workers. It is a lot of work keeping track of sizes and what we have left in the back. Sometimes the shipments are late, which can be annoying, but that is just how things go. We keep the doors open until late evening when the street finally starts to quiet down a bit. It is just a normal shop trying to do things right. There is always someone coming in looking for a specific color or a size we just ran out of. We try to keep a bit of everything for the local crowd.
