Samar Classes

Being located near the Shwetambar Jain Mandir in Itwari means there is always something happening outside. The bells, the people walking by, and the general energy of this part of Nagpur keeps us on our toes. We started Samar Classes just to help out local students who needed a place to study that wasn't their cramped living room. It isn’t a massive institute with glass walls. It’s more like a room where we get together and tackle the subjects that give people trouble. I usually spend my mornings getting the notes ready or cleaning the chalk dust off the tables. It gets dusty fast here. Itwari is a crowded place, so finding us can be a bit of a challenge if you aren't familiar with the lanes, but once you find the temple, we are right there. The chairs aren't the most comfortable in the world, but they do the job for an hour or two of sitting. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. Most people just hear about us from a neighbor or a cousin who came here last year. It’s a very local thing. We see the same faces every day, and after a while, you just get into a rhythm. Sometimes we stay late when exams are coming up, and the street outside finally gets quiet. That’s usually when the best learning happens, honestly. Just us and the books and a little bit of quiet.
