S Kanojiya Driving School

I run the driving school near the Traffic Park in Nagpur. We are specifically on Hanuman Mandir Road in Dharampeth. Being near the Hanuman Mandir makes it easy for people to find us. We have a couple of cars that stay parked out front when we aren't out on the road. The office is small, just enough for a desk and some chairs for people to sit while they fill out their forms. Most of my day is spent in the passenger seat, watching someone try to get the clutch right without stalling the engine. Dharampeth is a busy area, so it’s a good place for people to learn how to handle real traffic. We see a lot of nervous faces every morning. The road near the park is a bit quieter, which helps for the first few lessons. I’ve lived in Nagpur for a long time, so I know all the turns and the potholes around here. Sometimes we take the cars down towards the main market to give the students more practice. The sun gets really hot in the afternoons, so the air conditioning in the cars is a must. We keep the keys on a board behind the desk. It’s a simple business. We just help people get comfortable behind the wheel so they can go where they need to go. It’s mostly just driving back and forth all day through the city streets.
