Research For Resurgence Foundation

Our office is tucked away at H No. 666D, right near Gujarwada on Tulsi Bag Road. This part of Mahal in Nagpur is very old and has a lot of character. You can hear the sounds of the market and the traffic all day long. Research For Resurgence Foundation is based here because we wanted to be in the heart of the city where real life happens. We spend our time looking into things that might help the community get back on its feet in different ways. It’s not the kind of research you see in big labs; it’s more about talking to people and understanding old traditions. The building is a bit dated and the rooms are small, but it stays relatively cool even when Nagpur gets incredibly hot in May. We have a lot of books and old documents piled up on every available surface. It’s just a handful of us working here, usually with the windows open to catch a breeze. We don’t use much formal language or have big meetings. We just sit around, drink some water, and figure out the next step for our projects. Mahal is a busy place, and being near Tulsi Bag means there is always someone passing by with a story. We like that we are right in the middle of it all, staying grounded while we do our work without any polished corporate distractions.
