Raj Nandni Household Chemical Company is at Plot No- 178. We are in the Bekate House in Shanti Nagar. It’s near Bhavare College. A lot of students pass by our gate every single day on their way to class. We make cleaning stuff for homes. Mostly we do soaps and liquid detergents. It’s a family-run kind of place. We have a few big mixing vats and a small area for packaging everything into bottles. It’s not a giant factory like the ones you see on TV. The air usually smells like lemons or strong bleach. We have a small yard where we park the delivery rickshaw and unload raw materials. Shanti Nagar is a quiet enough place except for the busy college hours. We’ve been at Plot 178 for a few years now. We started small and just decided to stay that way. My cousin helps out with the books and the phone calls. We don't do much advertising or marketing. People just find us through word of mouth from their neighbors. Sometimes people come by to buy a bottle of floor cleaner directly from the front door. We use simple ingredients in our mixes. The floors are always a bit damp from us washing the equipment at the end of the day. It’s a decent life for us. We don’t want to be some huge corporation with offices. We just want to make good chemicals that people can use. If you see the college, you are very close to us.
