Rachna Hospital And Research Centre is found at P 26 on the Midc main road in Butipuri. This is an industrial part of the region, so we are surrounded by warehouses and manufacturing plants. It’s a big, functional building that was put up to serve the community and the workers in this area. We call it a research centre too, because we do keep an eye on the different health issues that pop up around the industrial zone, but at its heart, it’s just a hospital for the people. The main road is always busy with big trucks, so there’s a lot of dust and noise outside. Inside, we try to keep things as orderly as we can. It’s a large space with different sections for various needs. The staff spends a lot of time on their feet, moving between the wards and the front desk. We don’t have a fancy lobby with plants or music. It’s a very practical environment meant for getting people healthy. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles with the heat out here, but we do our best to keep everyone comfortable. We see a lot of people who have come a long way from the surrounding villages too. It’s a busy life at P 26, and there is always something that needs fixing or a patient who needs attention. We don’t make a big deal out of what we do. We just keep the doors open and do our part for the Butipuri community.
