We operate Pulimoottil Chits Private Limited from Shop No. 3 in the Nilkanth Co Op Society. It’s situated in Satnami Nagar, which is a well-known part of Nagpur. If you’re familiar with the 440088 area code, you probably know where we are. The shop itself is modest and functional. It’s tucked into the society building and stays fairly cool even when the Nagpur heat gets intense outside. We have been here for a while, dealing with the chit fund cycles and keeping everyone's payments organized. It’s a hands-on job. We don't have an automated system for everything, so there is a lot of writing things down in ledgers and talking to people face to face. It’s more personal that way. The neighbors in Satnami Nagar are good people and we see many of them regularly. The office gets a bit crowded on collection days, but we manage by adding a few extra stools. We don’t go for any of that corporate talk about growth or strategy. We just focus on making sure the chits are handled right and everyone gets their turn. Sometimes we forget to turn the sign around to "Open," but we are usually inside working away anyway. It’s a small, local business and we are proud to be part of the community here in Nagpur. No bells or whistles, just a desk, some chairs, and plenty of paperwork to keep us occupied for the whole day.
