Our office is inside Mangalam Apartment, which is situated behind Sriram Bhavan in the Ramdas Peth area. It is quite a nice part of Nagpur, especially with Lendra Park so close by. Sometimes we go for a short walk there when the paperwork gets to be too much. Being in an apartment building means it feels more like a home than a stiff office. We have a few rooms set up with desks and cupboards full of files that have been growing over the years. We do a lot of consulting and associate work, which means a lot of reading and writing. It is usually quiet here, except for the occasional sound of the neighbors or the traffic from the main road. We like the pace of Ramdas Peth because it is central but still has a bit of a residential feel. When people come to see us, they usually find us sitting around the main table with several folders open. We don't go in for big advertisements or anything like that. Word of mouth has always been enough for us. We just try to handle each case or project with some common sense and a bit of patience. It is a small team here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the door to filing documents. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady and we’ve built some good relationships with the people who come back to us year after year.
