Our office is at B-9 in the Vinayak Residency which is building number 113 in the Modi Khana area near Sat Rasta. It is a bit of a mouthful to explain to delivery drivers sometimes but we are easy to find once you are in the neighborhood. The Sat Rasta area is always moving and there is plenty of stuff happening outside our windows. Inside it is a bit calmer. We have our desks set up in a way that lets us talk to each other without standing up. We handle a lot of consulting work which mostly involves sitting at computers and looking at spreadsheets or reports. We have a few potted plants that we forget to water sometimes and a small shelf for our reference books. The residency is a nice enough building and we have good relations with the people living upstairs. It’s not a big corporate headquarters or anything like that. It is just a few of us working together and trying to stay on top of our deadlines. We usually have the radio playing quietly in the background to fill the silence. Lunch is usually something we bring from home or pick up from the local shops nearby. We have been here for a while and the routine suits us just fine. That’s what a normal day looks like for everyone at Prayojan Consultants.
