Poddar Travels

Our place is in Nandanvan Colony in Nagpur, specifically at E-106. If you know this part of the city, you know it is mostly houses and some small shops here and there. We started Poddar Travels because there wasn't a lot of help for people looking to travel out of this side of town. It’s just a small setup we have. Usually, one of us is here from morning until late evening, just taking calls and writing down names in our register. We handle a lot of different things, like booking seats or arranging vehicles for families. Nagpur gets very hot in the summer, so we spend a lot of time making sure the AC in the cars is working right before anyone gets in. We aren't a big corporation with fancy uniforms. Most of the time, I’m just sitting here in my regular clothes, talking to regular people who want to go see their relatives or take a short break. The office is easy to spot once you get into the colony. We don't do much advertising because most people just hear about us from their neighbors or friends who live nearby. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. We like the local feel of being in Nandanvan. It feels like we are part of the community here. Every day is a bit different, depending on who walks through the door or what the roads are like that week. We just keep things moving along for everyone.
