People And Earth Care Organisation is located at 21/7, Ujwal Nagar, just off Wardha Road. This part of the city is always buzzing because Wardha Road is a major artery. Our office is a simple setup in a residential block. We’ve got a couple of rooms where we keep our supplies and do our planning. It’s nothing fancy, just some sturdy tables and chairs. We spend most of our time thinking about how to balance the needs of people with the health of the planet. It sounds like a big task, but we take it one small project at a time. Often, we are out in the field, so the office stays empty for hours. When we are there, you’ll usually find us drinking tea and going over our checklists. The neighbors are friendly and we try not to make too much noise. Sometimes the traffic on Wardha Road makes it hard to hear, but we’ve gotten used to the sound of the city. We don't have a big budget for advertising, so we rely on word of mouth. People know us as the folks who are always worried about the trees or the local parks. It’s a quiet kind of work that doesn't get a lot of attention, but that's fine with us. We just want to do our bit without any grand declarations or corporate polish. We have a small garden patch out back where we try to grow some vegetables.
