Parate Driving School

Our place is right across from Gulmohar Hall on Khamla Road. Nagpur can be a bit of a nightmare to drive in if you aren’t used to it, especially around the GPO area. We spend most of our mornings and evenings sitting in the passenger seat watching people try to figure out the clutch and the brake. It takes a lot of patience, honestly. Some people pick it up fast and others need a few extra weeks to stop stalling at the lights. Teaching started for us when we realized how many people were struggling to find someone patient to help them out. The traffic on Khamla Road gives our students plenty of real practice right from the start. It isn't a glamorous job, just a lot of hours on the road and making sure people don't bump into things. We keep the cars running and try to stay on schedule, though traffic doesn't always cooperate. If you’ve seen our cars around Nagpur, you know we’re out there every day. We don't have a big corporate staff, just a few of us who know the city streets well. Learning to drive is a big deal for people, so we just try to make it feel a bit less scary. It’s a basic office, nothing special to look at, but it works for what we need. We’re usually there early before the sun gets too high.
