Om Surgecal Hospital & Trauma Center is located at 37 Tilak Nagar in Nagpur. Being a trauma center, our day-to-day life here can be quite unpredictable. You never really know what is going to come through the door next. We aren't one of those big, shiny hospitals you see in the city center with glass elevators and fancy lobbies. Our building is older and more lived-in, but it’s sturdy and it serves the Tilak Nagar community well. We handle various surgeries and a lot of emergency cases that need immediate attention after accidents. It can be a high-pressure environment at times, especially during the long night shifts when things seem to happen all at once and the hallways get busy. The staff here is used to the pace, though. We don't spend any money on big advertisements or fancy brochures because word of mouth in Nagpur usually does the trick for us. People know where we are if something goes wrong. The interior is focused on being functional rather than looking pretty for photos. We have the operating rooms and the beds for recovery, and that’s what really matters most at the end of the day. It’s a practical place for serious medical work. Sometimes it’s noisy with the machines and sometimes it’s stressful for the families, but that’s just the nature of working in a trauma center. We’ve been here at number 37 for many years now, and we’ve seen a lot.
