Nkp Salve Institute Of Medical Science & Lata Mangeshkar Hospital is located out on Hingna Road in the Digdoh Hills area. It is a pretty big place since we have both the medical school part and the hospital itself. This means we have students running around learning things while the doctors work on the patients. It keeps the energy high, even if it gets a bit noisy in the hallways. Being up in Digdoh Hills means we have a lot of space, which is good because we get many people coming in every single day. We’ve been part of this community for a long time. People know us for being one of the main spots on this side of town. The hospital is always open, which is necessary when you have so many beds and different departments to look after. We deal with all sorts of cases, from small things to more serious stuff. Working here means you never really know what the next hour will look like. It’s a practical setup, nothing too fancy, just focused on the work. We spend a lot of time organizing the schedules for the students and the clinical staff. Sometimes the elevators are a bit slow when it's busy, but that’s just part of life in a big building. Most of us have been working here for years and we’ve seen the area around Hingna Road change quite a bit. It’s a steady place for the locals.
