Niravati Welfare Services Foundation

We started Niravati Welfare Services Foundation here in Nagpur because we saw things that needed doing in our neighborhood. It’s located over on Kamla Nagar AMT Road in Wadi. It is not some huge office with lots of fancy chairs. Just a few of us trying to help out where we can. Sometimes we are busy with paperwork and other times we are out meeting people in the street. It gets hot here in Nagpur, but we stay at it. Life is tough for a lot of folks and we just wanted to be a place where someone could come for help. We aren't experts at everything, but we try to listen. The address is E1 Kamla Nagar, if you know the area. People usually just drop by. We don’t have a big fancy sign or anything. It’s just us. My cousin helps out too sometimes when he isn’t working his other job. We don’t really have a set routine every single day because things change. One day might be quiet and the next is a mess of people needing things. We don't mind. It's better than sitting around doing nothing. We’ve lived here a long time and know the families around Wadi pretty well. If someone is struggling, we try to figure something out. It isn't always easy and we don't always have the answers, but we are right here if you need to find us.
