New Yashoda Motor Driving School

Out on Nari Road, you’ll find us at New Yashoda Motor Driving School. We are close to the Nagpur GPO, so it’s a spot most people in 440001 know how to get to. We’ve been teaching people to drive around these streets for quite a few years. The office isn't much to look at, just a small room with some files and a few chairs for when people come to sign up. Most of the real work happens in the cars, driving up and down the local roads. Nagpur can get pretty hot, so we try to do most of the lessons early in the morning or later in the evening when it’s a bit cooler. We’ve had all kinds of cars over the years, and they definitely show some wear and tear from all the beginners practicing their clutch control. You can usually hear us coming before you see us because of the practice engines. We don't have any big corporate backers or fancy advertising. Most people just see our cars around or hear about us from a neighbor who learned here. The walls of the office could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to get around to it. It’s a practical business. We show up, we take people out for their lessons, and we help them get their licenses. That’s really all there is to it. We try to be patient because we know how scary it can be to drive for the first time.
