We run the Neuropsychiatric Hospital Computerised Pathology Laboratory over here on Central Avenue. You can find us located right at Sarda Hospital near Chhapra Chowk. It is a busy intersection and we have been at this specific spot for quite a bit. The lab work keeps us occupied from the early morning until well into the evening. We have the computers and all the testing machines set up to handle the samples that come in from the hospital and outside. Most of what we do is just processing tests and getting the results written down correctly. It is quiet work in the back rooms but the front counter can get a little crowded when people are waiting for their papers. Chhapra Chowk is a well-known landmark around here, so most folks do not have much trouble finding the building. We try to keep things simple and functional. There is no point in having a fancy setup if the machines are doing the real work. We see a lot of different people coming in with their forms and vials every day. It is a lot of detail-oriented stuff. We just put our heads down and get through the pile of tests. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine acts up, and we just have to deal with it and keep the work moving. That is just part of running a lab in this area. We are just a local lab working out of Sarda Hospital.
