About Narhari Goldsmith Private Limited – Jewellery in Nagpur
We have been here at Bhusari Bhawan for quite some time now. It is on Bapuro Gali, right near the Nikalas Mandir Road in Nagpur. If you know this area, you know it gets busy, especially around the temple times. Most days start with opening up the shutters and getting the workbench ready. Being a goldsmith is not fancy work, honestly. It is a lot of sitting, looking through a magnifying glass, and making sure the torch is just right. My hands are usually a bit dirty from the polishing compounds and the heat from the furnace can get to you in the summer months. People come in mostly because they know where we are. We don't do much in terms of shouting about ourselves. We just do the work. Sometimes it's a small repair on a chain that someone's kid broke, and other times it's something a bit more involved. It is just a small place. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we spend more time looking at the gold than the walls anyway. There are a few of us here. We drink a lot of tea while we work. Nagpur gets really hot, so the fan is always running, making a bit of a clicking sound. We are just a local business trying to get the jobs done right for the folks who walk in through that door. It’s what we do every day.
