Ashonyx Design Studio

We’ve been at Kothiram Chamber for a while now. It is right beside the Bank of Baroda on Gurudev Nagar Road. Most people in Nandanvan know the spot because of the bank. Ashonyx Design Studio is where we spend most of our days. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place to get work done. We started this because we liked designing things. Sometimes the traffic on Gurudev Nagar Road gets a bit loud, but you get used to it. We have a few desks and some computers. There’s a tea stall nearby that we visit often. It’s a quiet enough area once you’re inside the building. People usually just drop by if they have something they need looked at. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. It’s mostly just us working on various projects that come our way. Sometimes things get busy and the office looks a bit messy with papers everywhere. We try to keep it organized, but work takes over. The building itself, Kothiram Chamber, has been around for a while. We’re on the upper floors. There’s no elevator, or if there is, it’s usually not working right, so we walk up. The stairs are a bit narrow. When you get inside our studio, it’s just a room filled with stuff. We have drawing boards and some older computers that still work fine. Sometimes the paint on the walls looks a bit dull, but we don't mind. We focus on the work.
