Naman Motor Driving School

We have been sitting here in Sadar Bazar for quite a long time now. Naman Motor Driving School isn't a fancy place, just a small office with some chairs and a desk where we handle the paperwork for the RTO. If you know Nagpur, you know how the traffic can get around Juna Jaripatka. It’s right near the Kabrishtan, so people usually find us easily enough. Most days, we are out on the roads from early morning before the sun gets too hot. We take the learners out in the smaller cars first because they are easier to handle. You see all kinds of people coming in, some who are very nervous and others who think they know everything already. We just sit in the passenger seat with our foot near that extra brake, hoping nobody bumps into anything. It is a lot of patience. Sometimes the engine stalls in the middle of a busy crossing, and the horns start blaring from behind. We just tell the student to take a breath and restart. The office gets a bit dusty with the windows open, and the tea from the shop next door is what keeps us going. We don't have any big slogans or anything. It’s just about getting people their license and making sure they don't hit a pole on their first day alone. That’s pretty much how it goes here every day from Monday to Saturday.
