M/S Vikrant Industries

We are located right in the middle of the action at Gandhibagh in Nagpur. Our place is inside the GM Market, which is quite near Fawara Square. If you know Nagpur, you know how busy and crowded that area gets during the day. It is a major hub for trade and there are people moving everywhere you look. We are at H. Rajendra & Co, occupying the space at number 42 for Vikrant Industries. It is an old market building, so it has a lot of character, but it also has its share of quirks. The stairs are a bit steep and the corridors can get narrow when people are moving big boxes around. We deal with industrial stuff, so the office is often filled with the smell of metal and packaging materials. It gets quite hot in Nagpur, and being in a market building means the air does not always move much. We have a few old fans that keep us going through the afternoon slump. Most of our day is spent dealing with traders and customers who just walk in from the street. It is a very hands-on environment. There is no real quiet time here until the whole market shuts down in the evening. We keep our records in big thick books and some on the computer as well. It is a bit of an old-school way of doing things but it works for the people we deal with every day.
