We’re located out in the MIDC Industrial Area in Kalmeshwar. It’s a bit of a drive from the main part of Nagpur, but it’s where all the action is for us. K M Gupta handles the auditing work here for Ispat Industries. The office at A-10/1 is usually quiet, filled with the sound of calculators and papers shuffling. We aren't doing anything flashy. Auditing is just a lot of checking numbers and making sure the books balance. It’s serious work, but we try to keep the atmosphere relaxed. The industrial area can be quite dusty, and you can hear the machines from the nearby factories all day long. We’ve got a small team here. Most of us have been in Nagpur our whole lives. We take our tea breaks together and complain about the summer heat like everyone else. The office doesn't have fancy furniture or big screens. Just desks, computers, and a lot of filing cabinets. We do the work on behalf of the larger company, making sure everything is documented correctly. It’s not the kind of job that gets much attention, but it’s necessary. We know the other business owners in the MIDC area. Sometimes we help each other out with local issues. We aren't here to impress anyone with big words. We just want to get the audits finished accurately and go home to our families. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living.
