Mobile House

Mobile House is situated on Ganga Bai Ghat Road in the Nawabpura area of Mahal. It’s a small shop, but we manage to cram a lot into it. Between the glass counters and the repair bench, there isn’t much space for more than three or four people at a time. We’ve been here for a bit now, mostly fixing phones that people have dropped or spilled water on. It’s a lot of squinting at tiny parts and trying to get those microscopic screws back into place without losing them. Mahal is a lively part of the city, and Ganga Bai Ghat Road always has something going on. We get all kinds of people coming in, from teenagers with broken screens to older folks who can't figure out why their apps disappeared. We don't have a fancy customer service desk. You just come in, show us what's wrong, and we tell you if we can fix it today or if you need to come back tomorrow. Sometimes we run out of specific chargers or batteries and have to wait for the delivery guy to fight through the Nawabpura traffic. It gets hot in the shop during the summer, but we keep the fan going and keep working. We aren't a big chain store with matching uniforms. We are just a local mobile shop trying to help people get their phones working again so they can get on with their day.
