This business has its roots in a few different places. We have our main office at Asish Palace in Nagpur, but a lot of our history and family ties are back in Digras in the Yavatmal district. Ramdas started things up years ago, and we have been keeping it going from the "Shiv Krupa" house in Bapu Nagar. It is a family-run operation through and through. We do building and development work across this part of Maharashtra, which involves a lot of traveling between towns. One day we are in Nagpur checking on a site and the next we are driving back to Digras to handle things there. Dealing with land and construction means you are always talking to people, from government clerks to the guys mixing the concrete on site. It is not a very glamorous life. Our office spaces are mostly just for keeping the files and maps organized. We have stacks of architectural drawings sitting in almost every corner. The sun gets really hot out here in the summer, so we try to get the outdoor inspections done as early as we can. We do not have a marketing team or anything like that. Most people know us because our family has been around for a long time. We just focus on putting up the buildings and making sure the plots are ready for use. It is steady work that keeps us busy.
