Our factory, Sandeep Metalcraft Pvt. Ltd., is located at D - 16 in the MIDC Industrial Area of Nagpur. If you’ve ever been to Nagpur in the summer, you know it gets incredibly hot, and being in a metal shop doesn't make it any cooler. We are right in the heart of the industrial zone where there are factories all around us. The sound of machines and metal clanging is pretty much the soundtrack to our day. We deal with metalwork, so it’s a dirty, hands-on kind of environment. Our address is 440 028, and we’ve been part of this MIDC area for a long time. There’s always a truck backing in or leaving with a load of parts. We don't have a polished showroom; it’s mostly just the workshop floor and a small office space for paperwork. The guys here are used to the hard work and the grease. We start early before the sun gets too high to try and get the heavy lifting done. It’s an honest way to make a living, even if it’s noisy and exhausting. We have our routines, from checking the equipment to making sure the orders are ready to go out. It’s not a fancy corporate life, just a lot of metal and hard work in the Nagpur heat. We take our breaks under the fans and talk about the day's production. It’s just how things go at D - 16.
