Mental Hospital

This hospital is right on Station Road, which makes it pretty easy for people to find since everyone knows the way to the station. It’s a plain building, and we’ve been here for a long time. We focus on psychiatric care, helping people who are going through some tough times with their mental health. The road outside is always loud with traffic and people rushing to catch trains, but once you get inside the gates, things settle down a little bit. We have different wards depending on what people need. It’s not a glamorous place by any means, but it’s functional and provides a safe space for the patients. The staff works long shifts, and there’s always someone on duty to keep an eye on things. We spend a lot of our time talking to families and making sure medications are handled properly. Sometimes the gardens get a bit overgrown, but we try to keep the common areas decent enough for people to sit. It’s a lot of work, and the building shows its age in some spots, with paint peeling here and there. But we are here every day, dealing with the reality of mental illness and trying to provide a stable environment for everyone who walks through the door. It’s just the daily life of a hospital on a busy station road.
