Mds Kitchen

Started Mds Kitchen a while back in this flat at Maharaja Tower. It's on the fourth floor, so we get a bit of a breeze sometimes, though Nagpur heat doesn't really care much about that. We spend most of our mornings here at Krida Square getting things ready before the sun gets too high. Hanuman Nagar is a busy spot, especially with the post office right across from us. You see people coming and going all day, some dropping off mail and others just rushing to work. Our space isn't very big, but it’s where we do everything. The kitchen gets pretty loud when the stoves are going and someone is chopping vegetables on the heavy wooden boards. We keep our supplies tucked in the corners because space is tight. Sometimes the delivery guys get confused finding flat 404, so we end up waving to them from the balcony. It’s just a few of us working here, trying to get things done right. We’ve been in this building for some time now and know the watchman and the neighbors pretty well. It’s not a fancy setup with glass walls or anything. It’s just a practical workspace where we focus on the food we’re making today. Usually, by the time the afternoon hits, the smell of spices starts drifting out into the hallway. We don't have a big sign outside, just the address people look for when they need to find us here in Nagpur.
