Manovikas Behavioural Sciences Clinic is up on the 1st floor of the Shahu-Samaj Market at Sakkardara Square. Being in a market area means there is always something happening outside. You can hear the sounds of the square from our windows, but the clinic itself is usually pretty quiet. We wanted a place that was easy for people to reach, and Sakkardara Square is a big landmark for everyone around here. We’ve set up the rooms to be comfortable, nothing too clinical or scary. It’s a simple space on the first floor. You walk up the stairs and you’re there. We deal with a lot of different people every day. Everyone has their own story. We don't use big words or fancy talk. We just listen and talk. It’s a small practice. We handle the paperwork ourselves and keep things running without much fuss. The market atmosphere downstairs is a big contrast to what we do up here. Sometimes the hallways are a bit dim, and the building shows its age, but it’s home for our clinic. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and most people in the Sakkardara area know where to find the Shahu-Samaj Market. We don't need a lot of signs. People find their way to us when they need a bit of help with things.
