Saxena Trading Corporation

Saxena Trading Corporation is at No. 20 in Manish Nagar, which is over in the Somalwada area. It’s a fairly quiet residential and commercial mix. Our office is just a regular house that we converted into a workspace. It has that lived-in feel, which we actually quite like. We aren't hidden away in some big business park; we’re right there on a street where people live. Most of our neighbors are families, so we try to keep things fairly quiet during the day. We have a lot of files and stock piled up in the different rooms. It might look a bit disorganized to someone walking in for the first time, but there is a system to it all. Trading involves a lot of paperwork and phone calls, so that’s what we spend most of our hours doing. We usually have the radio playing in the background to keep things from getting too silent. There’s a small porch out front where we take our breaks and watch the neighbors go by. It’s a very grounded way to run a business. We don't have a lot of visitors, but when we do, they usually just pull up right in front of the gate. It’s been our home base for several years now and Somalwada has been a good place for us to grow slowly and steadily. We just focus on the orders and keep the records straight.
