Manikgarh Cement

We’ve been here at the Gadchandur factory site for a good while now. It’s a busy place, especially when the trucks start lining up early in the morning. You probably know the spot if you live around here. Most of us have been working at Manikgarh Cement for years, so we’ve seen the seasons change more times than I can count. The dust is just part of the day, and everyone knows the sound of the machinery running. It isn’t anything fancy, just a big plant out here doing what it does. On hot days, the heat really gets into the sheds, but we just keep going. People stop by the office for paperwork or just to check on orders, and we try to keep things moving without too much fuss. It's a local workplace, plain and simple. We know the roads around Gadchandur like the back of our hands because we’re always sending stuff out. It’s loud, it’s big, and it’s where we spend most of our daylight hours. Not much else to it, really. We just show up, do the work, and see the same faces every day. The factory has been a landmark for a long time, and we’re just the folks inside keeping the lights on and the cement moving. It's practical work for practical people. No one here is trying to be anything we aren't, just neighbors making sure the plant keeps running as it should.
