Manganese Ore India Limited

Our operation is based at the Kandri Mine, which is under the management of Ashok Kumar, the Senior Manager for the mines. We are located in the Nagpur district, specifically at the post office in Kandri. Being part of Manganese Ore India Limited means we have a lot of ground to cover. The mine site is where all the real action happens, and the office there is mostly for keeping the logs and making sure the shifts are covered. It's a lot of manual work and coordination with the drivers and the miners. We don't have fancy furniture or a quiet lobby. It’s a mining site, so there’s always the sound of trucks and the smell of earth. We’ve been at this for many years, and the community around Kandri is closely tied to what we do. It’s a tough job but it's vital for the industry. We just try to keep things moving as smoothly as possible. Some days the machinery breaks down and everything stops, which is frustrating, but we just fix it and keep going. We don't go for big marketing campaigns; our work is right there in the ground for everyone to see. It’s a simple, hardworking life out here in the Nagpur district, and we’re just a bunch of people trying to do the job right every single day. The heat can be a real problem during the summer months, but we provide plenty of water and keep things moving. It’s just the way it is here at the mine.
