Makode Classes

We’ve been here on Ring Road for quite a while now. Chhatrapati Nagar is a busy area, especially during the mornings when everyone is heading to work or school. Makode Classes started in a small room and we just kept going from there. It’s nothing fancy, just some desks, chairs, and a board where we go over lessons. People around here know the building because of the big tree outside. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, but we’re used to it. The kids come in after their regular school hours, usually looking a bit tired, so we try to keep things straightforward. We don’t have a big reception or anything like that. Usually, it's just one of us sitting at the front desk handling the registers. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but they’ve seen a lot of students pass through over the years. We spend most of our day checking notebooks and explaining the same math problems or science concepts. It’s a routine that works for us. Nagpur summers are tough, so the fans are always on full blast, making that clicking sound. We keep some extra water bottles in the corner because it gets so dusty outside. Parents often drop by to ask how their kids are doing, and we just talk to them plainly about what we see. There isn't any big secret to what we do here, we just show up and teach.
