Mahindra Logistics is located out here on Hingna Road in Nagpur. This part of town is pretty much all industrial, so there is always a lot of heavy vehicles and machinery moving around the streets. We operate right out of the Mahindra & Mahindra premises, which is a big, busy place. It gets incredibly hot in Nagpur during the summer months, which makes the physical work a bit tougher for everyone, but we have all gotten used to it by now. There is always something that needs to be moved, loaded, or tracked on the computer. We deal with a lot of coordination between the drivers and the warehouse staff. It certainly is not a quiet job. You will hear the constant sound of engines and people shouting out instructions all day long. We don't have some shiny office in a skyscraper; it is more about being right where the actual work happens. The guys here are mostly local and we have been working together as a team for a long while. Every morning starts with a fresh list of what needs to go out and what is coming in from other cities. It is straightforward work, really. We spend a lot of time on our feet or on the phone checking on shipments. Nagpur is a big hub for this kind of stuff in India, so things rarely slow down even at night. If you come by Hingna Road, you will see how busy the whole area stays with all the trucks.
