Madan Surgical Corporation is at 854, Mount Road. This is a very busy part of the city, and the traffic outside is almost never quiet. We deal in surgical and medical supplies, so our shop is filled with stacks of boxes containing all sorts of healthcare items. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the shelves reaching up to the ceiling. We aren't a high-end boutique; we are a practical supplier where doctors and clinic staff come to get what they need. The building is quite old, which you can see from the high ceilings and the style of the windows. We spend a lot of our day counting inventory and packing orders for local hospitals. It’s a lot of physical work, moving crates and organizing the stock so we can find things quickly. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles in the shop. There’s a wooden counter where we write out the bills and talk to the customers who come in. We’ve been on Mount Road for many years and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit.
