M S Parekh & Sons

We are located at Plot No. 53 on Gandhi Road, right in the heart of Kagdi Bazar. M S Parekh & Sons has been part of this neighborhood for a long time. Being near the Bhdara Kali Mandir means we hear the temple bells and see the crowds during festival times. The market is always full of life. Our shop is a bit old-fashioned. We have high ceilings and heavy wooden doors. The air inside smells like paper and incense from the temple. We don't use a lot of fancy technology here. A lot of our records are still kept by hand in big ledgers. It’s a family-run sort of feeling even on the busy days. Gandhi Road is narrow, so deliveries can be a bit of a headache. We have to time things just right. Inside, it’s a bit dark but we know our way around every corner. We have stacks of inventory that go all the way to the back. We don't bother with big advertisements. People in Kagdi Bazar know where we are. We just open up in the morning, sweep the front, and start our work. It’s a steady rhythm that hasn't changed much over the years. We take pride in just being here and doing the work. It’s a simple life in a busy market, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We just keep the tradition going on Gandhi Road.
