Our place is located on Imambada Road, which is always full of life and a bit of chaos. It’s one of those streets where there's always something happening, whether it's a rickshaw blocking the way or a festival going on nearby. We work with plastics, so our building is usually filled with the sound of processing and the smell of raw materials. It’s an old building, but it serves our purpose well enough. The stairs are a bit narrow and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we're more concerned with what’s going on inside. We have a small crew and most of us have been here for years. We don't really do the whole corporate thing with suits or formal meetings. Usually, we just talk over a cup of tea in the morning about what needs to be done. It’s a lot of manual labor, moving sacks of granules and checking the molds. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing them, which is frustrating but it's part of the trade. We’ve stayed on Imambada Road because it’s where our roots are. The neighbors are mostly other small shops and residences, so it feels like a real community. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our work, earn our living, and go home to our families at the end of the day.
