We are based out of an apartment in Kelkarwadi. It is called Ameya Apartment, and we are in unit F6. It might seem a bit unusual to have a steel industry office in a residential-looking building, but it works for what we need to do. Most of the heavy work happens at the plant, so this spot is more for the administrative side of things. We handle the numbers, the emails, and the phone calls here. Wardha is a small enough place that people find us easily enough once they get to Kelkarwadi. The stairs can be a bit steep if you are carrying boxes, but we are used to it by now. The room is usually filled with the sound of a printer going or someone talking on the phone to a supplier. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. It’s just a plain office where we get the paperwork finished so the steel can keep moving. Sometimes we have tea together in the afternoon when things slow down a bit. We’ve been part of the local scene for a while. Dealing with steel orders takes up most of our time. We don't really bother with big speeches or trying to sound like a massive corporation. We just want to make sure the records are correct and the people we work with are satisfied with the results. It is a steady way to make a living.
