If you are looking for us, we are right behind the police station in Khapa. It’s in the Saoner tahsil of the Nagpur district. Being located behind a police station makes it easy for people to find the way, even if they aren't from around here. Lloyds Steel Ind. Ltd Wardha has its roots in this area. It’s a dusty part of the country, especially with all the steel work and the trucks moving in and out. The roads are a bit bumpy and when the wind blows, you can feel the grit in the air. We don't have a fancy corporate lobby. It’s just a workspace where we manage the steel operations. We spend a lot of time talking to the workers and making sure the supplies are coming in on time. There’s a tea stall just down the road where we usually take our breaks. The heat in Saoner can be tough, but we have a couple of big fans going all day. We aren't interested in sounding like a big polished company. We are just a local steel outfit doing our thing. The office is full of registers and old folders. Most of the people here have lived in the Nagpur district all their lives. We just take it one day at a time, dealing with the steel and the heat and the everyday problems that come up at the site.
