Tiger Trails Jungle Lodge

Our main office is over at 19 Dandige Layout in Shankar Nagar, which is right in Nagpur. We spend most of our time thinking about the forest and the lodges, even when we are stuck in the city doing the booking work. It’s a bit of a contrast. Out there at the lodge, things are much slower. We started this because we liked being outside and seeing the tigers and the birds. It’s a lot of work to keep a place running in the middle of nowhere, honestly. We have to worry about water, electricity, and making sure the food gets delivered on rough roads. In the Nagpur office, we take the calls and try to explain to people what to pack and what to expect. It isn't a luxury resort with gold taps; it's more about being close to the trees. We have a small team of people who really know the woods. Sometimes the weather makes things hard, or the animals don't show up where we think they will. That's just how it goes. We’ve been doing this for a good while now from our base in Maharashtra. It’s a simple setup we have, and we just like sharing the jungle with folks who care to see it properly. We don't mind the dust or the long drives as long as the lodge stays running right.
