Sony Enterprises

Sony Enterprises is located right at Sakardara Chowk. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets, especially in the evenings when everyone is out and about. Our shop is right in the middle of all that activity. We’ve been here at the chowk for a long time, watching the shops around us change and the traffic get heavier every year. It’s a simple retail space. We don’t have a lot of room, so we stack things up high and try to keep everything organized so we can find it when a customer asks. It’s usually loud outside with all the horns and people talking, but inside we just focus on the business. We get a lot of walk-in customers because of our location. People stop in while they’re waiting for a bus or just passing through the intersection. We don't do anything fancy with the display; we just put out what we have. Most of the time it’s just one or two of us behind the counter. We’ve gotten to know a lot of the regular faces who pass by every day. It’s a busy way to work, but it keeps things interesting. Sometimes we run out of stock on popular items because it’s hard to predict what people will want, but we try to get more in quickly. It’s just a small shop trying to serve the local crowd at Sakardara Chowk and the nearby neighborhoods.
