Our place is over in Bindra Colony, right in the College Ward area. Being near the college means there’s always a lot of movement outside, lots of younger people walking by and the general hum of the city. We’re at NSC No 4853. The building itself has seen better days, but it serves us well enough for what we need. Inside, it’s mostly just a collection of desks and a few old filing cabinets that have definitely seen better years. We don't really bother with much decoration. A few calendars on the wall and maybe a stray coffee mug or two is about as far as it goes. It’s often a bit loud because of the traffic and the students nearby, but we’ve gotten used to it over time. We start the day by clearing off the desks and checking what needs immediate attention. It isn't a high-tech setup. We rely on old-fashioned notebooks quite a bit because it’s just easier sometimes. The air in the office gets a bit stuffy in the afternoons, so we usually have a fan going constantly. It’s a practical space. We don't have a formal meeting room, so if anyone comes to visit, we just clear some space on the nearest table and sit down. It feels like a real part of the neighborhood, being right there in the thick of things in the ward. We just keep our heads down and do our work.
