Kathi Junction is right on V.I.P Road. We are at 1-A, which is very close to the Childrens Traffic Park. It is a pretty good spot because you can always hear the kids playing and the parents walking around in the evenings. We spend most of our time standing behind the counter or right near the hot tawa where the cooking happens. There is always the smell of frying onions and different spices in the air. We start our prep work quite early, chopping up vegetables and getting the meat ready for the rolls. The space inside isn't huge, so it gets pretty warm when the stoves are all going at the same time. We have a few stools for people to sit on, but most of our customers just stand around outside on the pavement or take their food over to the park to eat. It gets really crowded around sunset when everyone finishes their work for the day and wants a quick snack. We are usually moving pretty fast then, wrapping the rolls in silver foil and handing out napkins as fast as we can. Sometimes we run out of a certain ingredient and have to scramble to get more from the store before the next rush hits us. It is a loud and busy place but we like the energy of V.I.P Road. We have become a bit of a regular stop for folks.
