Our office is in the Himalaya Cooperative Society on Central Avenue Road, right at Ambedkar Chowk in Nagpur. It is a very busy part of the city, so there is always a lot of traffic and noise coming in from the main road. The office is just a simple room with some desks and a lot of maps and building plans pinned to the walls. Nagpur gets extremely hot during the summer months, which makes construction work really tough. We usually start our site visits very early in the morning to beat the heat. We handle various building projects around the city, and we have been doing it from this same spot for a while. There is nothing corporate about how we run things. It is just a few of us making sure the materials arrive and the workers know what to do each day. We do not spend time on fancy presentations or marketing. Most people who come to us are locals who know our work from seeing other buildings we have finished in Nagpur. Sometimes the office gets a bit messy with all the bills and samples of tiles or paint scattered around. We just focus on getting the masonry and the structure right. It is a lot of coordination and hard work, but we are used to the pace of life here near the chowk.
