Even though our company name mentions Yavatmal, we are actually working out of 139 Survey Nagar in Nagpur. It’s a bit of a distance between the two, but this is where we handle the main operations for Kanhoba Cons. Pvt.Ltd. Yavatmal. M.S . The office is in a decent part of Nagpur, and we’ve been here long enough that the postman doesn't get lost anymore. We are in the construction business, so there is always some talk about cement prices or labor availability going on in the office. It’s a practical space. We have some old filing cabinets and a few computers that have seen better days. We don't see the point in spending a lot on fancy furniture when the real work happens out on the field. Most of our staff are often out at various project locations, so the office can be quite quiet sometimes, and then suddenly very loud when everyone returns for a meeting. We deal with a lot of local authorities and suppliers in the Maharashtra region. It involves a lot of driving back and forth between sites. We don't use any polished slogans or big corporate talk. We just tell it like it is. If a project is delayed because of rain or material shortages, we say so. We try to be fair and keep things moving. It’s a tough business, but we’ve stayed at it.
