Kanak Pharma is where we spend most of our time these days. It’s a simple setup, really. We handle a variety of pharmaceutical products and mostly deal with local distribution. My cousin started helping out last year because the orders were piling up. We aren't some massive corporation with a skyscraper; it’s just a regular place where we keep the inventory organized. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late and we have to wait around, but that’s part of the business. We try to keep things straightforward. No one here wears a suit. We’re usually in jeans or whatever is comfortable for moving boxes around. It gets hot in the summer, but the fans keep the air moving well enough. We’ve known some of our customers for years now, so we just chat about the weather or family while we sort out their invoices. It’s not complicated. We just want to make sure the right medicine gets to the right person. There’s a lot of regulations to follow, so we spend a chunk of our morning just doing the required logs. It’s boring but necessary. We don’t have a big social media presence or anything. We just answer the phone when it rings and take care of what’s needed. It’s a decent living and we like the people we work with. That’s enough for us. We don't need any more than that to be satisfied with our day's work. It's just a job that needs doing.
