Santoshi Maa Timber

Our yard is at 280 Eias Chikhali Layout in Kalamna. If you come by, you’ll see stacks of wood everywhere. Santoshi Maa Timber isn't a showroom; it’s a working timber yard. There is always the sound of a saw somewhere and the smell of fresh-cut wood in the air. We spend our days outside or under the sheds, moving logs and planks around. It’s heavy work and you definitely get your hands dirty. We don't have an office with fancy chairs. We usually just sit on whatever is around when we need a break. The Kalamna area is pretty industrial and busy, with a lot of trucks moving in and out to pick up supplies. We deal with all sorts of people, from builders to folks just looking for a piece of wood for a home project. We don't use any fancy sales talk. We just show them what we have in stock and tell them the price. The sun can be pretty brutal out here in the yard, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early in the morning. Sometimes we have to wait for new loads to arrive, and we just sit around and chat until the truck rolls in. It’s a very simple, old-school way of doing things. We’ve been here at this layout for a long time, and we just keep doing what we know how to do, which is handling timber and making sure the orders are ready for pickup.
