Kakode And Company

We are Kakode And Company, located at the Antao Building on Khareband Road. Our space is right on the ground floor, which makes it easy for people to just walk in. We’ve been using Post Box No. 131 for ages. The building has a lot of character, maybe it’s seen better days, but it’s home to us. Khareband Road is a busy stretch. There is always someone walking by or a bike parked out front. Inside, it’s mostly shelves and some old wooden desks. We keep a lot of records in paper files because that’s how we started and it’s hard to change now. It’s a bit dim inside even with the lights on, but we’re used to it. The ground floor stays a bit cooler than the upper levels when the sun is beating down. We have a small staff and we’ve all been here a long time. We know the regulars who come by. It’s a quiet kind of work most of the time. Sometimes the traffic outside gets loud, but you stop noticing after a while. The Antao Building is easy to spot if you’re looking for it. We don't have a big fancy lobby. Just a door and some stock and us working behind the counters. It’s a practical setup for a business that’s been around the block a few times. It suits us and we have no reason to move.
