Nice Curtains Creation

Nice Curtains Creation is located at No. 76/A in the Tapovan Complex. We are on Wardha Road, right near the Union Bank of India in Jayprakash Nagar. It’s a good spot because a lot of people pass by on their way into the city. Inside the shop, we have racks and racks of different fabrics. There’s velvet, cotton, and all sorts of prints that people like for their homes. We spend a lot of our time with a measuring tape around our necks, helping people figure out how much cloth they need for their windows. The sewing machines are usually humming in the back, where we get the actual curtains made up. It can get a bit cluttered with all the scraps of thread and fabric on the floor, but we clean it up at the end of every day. Tapovan Complex is a busy place, so there’s always someone popping in to ask about prices or to see if their order is ready yet. We don’t have a corporate office or anything like that. It’s just us and the rolls of cloth. Sometimes we have to climb up on ladders to show how a curtain will hang, which can be a bit of a workout. We’ve been here in Jayprakash Nagar for a good bit now. It’s nice to see the same faces coming back when they move house or just want a change in their living room.
